Sterling Infosystems completes Integration with Taleo
Integration improves efficiency and increases speed of the background screening process
New York, NY. – February 12, 2010 – Sterling Infosystems Inc., a technology leader in employment screening services, today announced the completion of its Taleo Business Edition™ integration. This new integration offers Taleo customers with up to 5,000 employees a technology solution that is pre-configured to allow for rapid implementation and increased efficiency in the hiring process, including the total elimination of paper-based Consent and Disclosure forms.
Now, Taleo Business Edition, in conjunction with Sterling Direct, enables organizations to seamlessly manage their entire background screening program from within Taleo Recruit. Applicant data can be securely and automatically transferred to Sterling, so employers can request background checks and monitor the status of background screening reports directly through Taleo. Missing applicant information and applicable Consent and Disclosure forms can be electronically obtained from applicants, eliminating the need for faxing or redundant data entry. The result is a paperless and more efficient, accurate and timely pre-employment background check and on-boarding process.

Sterling Infosystems Acquires Abso Inc.
Sterling Infosystems Inc., a leading provider of employment and background screening services, today announced the acquisition of Abso, Inc. headquartered in Roseville, California.
Founded in 2000, Abso, Inc. is a national provider of employee background screening and recruiting management systems and services, serving over 2,600 clients across multiple industries including healthcare, gaming, staffing and aviation. Abso’s Screening Edition™ and Talent Edition™ solutions are used by businesses from small organizations to Fortune 500 enterprises. In addition to Roseville headquarters, Abso has offices in Denver, Los Angeles, Louisville and Seattle.

The acquisition of Abso is the second acquisition completed by Sterling in as many years. Since then, Bishops has expanded its business with financial firms such as hedge funds, private equity firms, investment and commercial banks and other professional services organizations.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sterling's background screening services will be integrated with Taleo's leading on demand recruiting solution, Taleo Enterprise Edition.
Sterling's certified integration with Taleo Enterprise Edition 7.5 will allow customers to quickly and more efficiently initiate background screens from the Taleo talent management platform. With this integration, applicant data can be securely and automatically transferred to Sterling, eliminating the need for faxing or redundant data entry. The result is a more efficient, accurate and timely screening and on-boarding process.
